Oracle Code One 2019 is coming

We are a few days away from the Oracle Code One 2019 (former JavaOne… yes, I miss it). As usual, I can’t wait for it!

This year I had a special honor of being part of the Program Committee for the first time. When I saw this picture below it was like “a dream come true”:

And, of course, I’ll also give some talks. Not so busy as in the last year (crazy 5 talks), but a good 3 talks in total, being 2 sessions and 1 panel. Let’s take a brief look at them:

Session: The Quest for the Language GraalVM: One JVM to Rule Them All [DEV1646]
When/Where: Monday, September 16, 01:30 PM – 02:15 PM | Moscone South – Room 202
Code One Tracks: Java Ecosystem, Emerging Tech
Notes: This session will show you how Graal VM can transform the way you think about and build software.

Panel: Share What You Know, Become a Speaker, and Get Accepted at Events [DEV5993]
When/Where: Wednesday, September 18, 06:00 PM – 06:45 PM | Moscone South – Room 301
Code One Tracks: Developer Community
Notes: This session discusses how you can become a speaker. You’ll get answers to your questions and concerns so you can share what you already know! Amazing speakers on the stage: Melissa McKay, Mercedes Wyss, Mary Grygleski, and David Neal.

Session: End the Chaos in Your Pipeline by Using Four Tools for Metrics and Management [DEV1647]
When/Where: Thursday, September 19, 11:15 AM – 12:00 PM | Moscone South – Room 303
Code One Tracks: Cloud Native, Developer Tools, DevOps
Notes: In this session, you will see how the integrated use of Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, and Service Graph can bring your metrics and monitoring skills to another level. For this session, I’ll have an outstanding company of my good friend Rodrigo Candido da Silva.

If you want to put them on your calendar, just visit the URL below. I highly suggest you do it! 🙂
